Good morning afternoon,

John 16:13-When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.

Reality T.V. is attractive because we see people who trust themselves so much that they say anything, whatever they think, feel, wrongly interpret, they say it without shame it seems!

But how much damage does trusting yourself, and expressing how you feel about something really prove accurate in making the situation better? Many things we do and say have caused damage that we really regret. We look back and ask ourselves why did I say or do that?

The reason we do that is that we really do trust ourselves. No matter how low of a view we have of ourselves or put forth towards other, we are extremely confident that our actions and words are right, because we feel that way at that time.

But how much of trusting ourselves has led us to be full of shame, insecurity, and no confidence to do what we know we should? Being prideful is to not trust in anyone, but what we feel and want to do. So the Holy Spirit is neglected to be led by, because we trust ourselves a lot more than we think.

It’s hard but continue to fight the temptation to act on what you feel and think. Our culture loves it for entertainment, but it kills relationships of having a vibrant love for Jesus and others.
