Life before As One: Soong-Yol Hong graduated from University of Virginia with an engineering degree in 1993, and worked for two years in an engineering company. During that time, he earned a Master of Engineering degree at Old Dominion University. In 1996, he felt God’s call into full-time Christian service and earned a Master of Divinity degree. He served as the Youth Pastor for 10 years at a church in Tacoma before starting As One Community Church in October of 2010.

Family Life: Soong-Yol is married to Janet, and have two daughters, 10 and 8. He is busy dating his wife and daughters alternately.

Favorite Pastimes: Watching sports (NBA, NFL, NCAA, MLB) on TV with Janet. Playing tennis. Taking pictures on his professional camera. Reading books while listening to classical music.

Life Before “As One”- Eldie Gentry graduated from Washington State University with a Psychology degree in 2000, and worked for 4 years as a counselor and family advocate.   In 2005 he answered the call of God to go into full-time ministry and graduated from Seminary in 2008 with a Masters in Theology degree.  He served for a year and half at a church in Tacoma before joining to help plant As One Community Church in 2010.

Family Life: Eldie is married to Angela Gentry and has one 10 year old son and two daughters 8 and 6 years old.

Favorite Past times: Watching Sports and Fishing

Life Before As One: Mike Lundy was called to ministry in 2011.  Upon receiving his call Mike volunteered at a church in Lakewood for two years with the youth group.  He also went back to school at Faith Seminary and in 2015 he received his Bachelors Degree in Leadership.  He also served for a year during that time at a church in University Place.  He is a fulltime elementary and high school PE teacher and Jr High Bible teacher at Tacoma Baptist School.  In 2016 Mike joined the As One team as the Current Generation Pastor. He recently received his Masters of Theological Studies at Faith Seminary.

Family Life: Mike is married to his high school sweet heart Rachel and has three children.  Jordyn is Mike’s 9-year-old daughter, Noah is his 6 year old son and Owen Bear is the youngest member of the Lundy clan at 2 and a half years old.

Favorite Past Times:  Mike enjoys being physically active and doing Crossfit.  He also enjoys studying theology.
