Good morning everyone

Psalm 19:11-12-Moreover, by them is your servant warned;
in keeping them there is great reward.
Who can discern his errors?
Declare me innocent from hidden faults.

The psalmist King David had just spent ten verses declaring how great God is in describing creation and His Word. I believe so we can see the context of everyday life, not only in what we see, but what we read from Him in the Word. That we wouldn’t be bogged down with sin and the details of tough days and seasons in our own lives, but get His context for it through His Word.

Without seeing God and His plan as greater than the smaller details in our lives, is to fall victim to self-absorption. This is why sacrificial living is unnatural to the world and to us as Christians, if faith in Christ and His plan is not the greater context in all of life. The world doesn’t have faith in Christ, so their context and philosophy is, "I must find a way to escape any discomfort and live for my own pleasure and glory". But with God we see beyond ourselves and the issue, to look at Jesus and see what God’s plan is within every detailed struggle we have.

Remember it will always be a deep trust in Christ for who He is, and what He has planned, if we ever think to move beyond the context of what we see and feel at the moment. The greatness of God and His Word pushes us beyond our faults to Him and His plan. Hopefully to recognize that we cannot trust ourselves, without Him revealing His will and context for our lives through His Word.

In His Love, Ld
