Value is what people are willing to pay for it. Therefore, value is also relative since not all people are willing to pay for it the same amount. A house might be valued at $200,000 in WA, but that same house might be valued at only $100,000 in FL.

What is the value of your loved one? Like your child or spouse? To you, his/her worth is more than all the money in the world. What is that? Like $50 Trillion maybe? But to someone who doesn’t know her/him, the value remains very low. If he/she were to have been killed and was on the news, it would only be a passing thought for someone who does not know him/her…

What is the value of you? What are you worth? Depends on who you ask. You could be worth $50,000 a year if you ask your boss. You could be worth nothing if you ask an NBA scout. Or you could be worth $50 Trillion if you asked your kids.

But what if you asked God?

You are worth the life of the Son of God, the Lamb of God, the Almighty who will judge the world with the swords coming out of His mouth!

“They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: ‘Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!'” Rev. 7:10

Whenever you are feeling down, depressed, unworthy, ask the right person about your value.

Stop asking your value to your work place.
Stop asking your value to your school admin.
Stop asking your value to your loved one – at $50 Trillion, you are still shortchanging yourself!

Ask God.
