Good afternoon everyone,

Hebrews 5:13,14-for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.

Though we move in and out of "sensitivity" with each other in relationships we cherish, we always have that "nagging" feeling that we should make time to get closer.

In relation to the scripture above, the writer is explaining what is the difference between someone who lives a life that does not make the Word a priority, and someone who because of constant interaction and obedience to it reveals that it is a priority.

But behind making the Word a priority or not, is the result. The result of a person making the Word a priority in their life is that they have "senses that discern good and evil". This is important, because knowing good and evil protects a relationship. This is why the Word must be a priority in our lives as Christians, because if we don’t discern from God what is right and wrong, we will be insensitive to Christ and harm the relationship. If we are mature, we will be sensitive to the slightest of evil we bring into the relationship, removing them because we are sensitive and cherish Christ that much.

In His Love, Ld
