Have you ever been broken because other people don’t worship God?

If we understand that we were created to worship God and we worship Him because we see His beauty and worth, we will naturally want Him to be worshiped not only by us but also by everyone else.

Ps. 119:136, “My eyes shed streams of tears, because people do not keep your law.”

Why would this psalmist be so emotionally concerned about others keeping the law? What does keeping the law imply? Is it because he wanted people to live a moral and religious lifestyle?

No. It meant that people were not worshiping God. It meant that people didn’t have God as their ultimate treasure. And this made the psalmist upset enough to shed tears.

How he wanted God to be worshiped by all!

I know I am not there yet. But I too want God to be worshiped. I don’t really care how or through what – whether through our ministry or not – but I want God to be worshiped by all.

I dream of throngs of people from all over the world raising their hands and voices to God and aligning their personal lives, raising godly children, being faithful at their work, and helping the poor in the name of Jesus Christ.

That is my holy ambition. At least majority of the time…

Enjoy the snow! Jesus covers our sins as snow covers the earth. Praise God!
