Good morning everyone,

Galatians 3:4-Did you suffer so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain?

The apostle Paul had such a love of Christ for His people that it caused him great grief that they were moving away from faith in Christ to no faith at all. The apostle knew that when his people stop living the gospel, they don’t glorify Christ, and suffer a multitude of things without anything to show for it (in vain)!

This vain suffering is seen in years of professing Christ yet not growing even amidst all the trials you may have suffered while attending church regularly. Eventually when anyone fails to see the "fruit" of doing anything we are tempted to quit. Bitterness comes when we don’t see the point of enduring suffering any longer, we think, "this is pointless" or in vain…

Sadly just like in many marriages, even Christian ones, the temptation to quit haunts us as Christians because we struggle in unbelief. You can quit even while present in a relationship, job, church, etc. No longer having the zeal to believe God works all things for good for us who love Him. But I pray that you hold on in faith that you can have a praise like David to encourage others.

Psalm 40:9-I have told the glad news of deliverance in the great congregation; behold, I have not restrained my lips, as you know, O Lord.
