Good morning everyone,

Galatians 6:17-From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.

The apostle Paul at this point in his ministry was embattled with false teachers coming in and "flattering" his people to move them away from the gospel of Jesus Christ. In his zeal for Christ and his people, he concludes his devotion to Jesus and his people by what he was willing to suffer to be a powerful witness for them and against those whose flatter for selfish gain.

At the end of the day like Paul, eventually we will see through flattery in our life, and measure true love in relationships by what people are willing to suffer for the betterment of the relationship.

Paul understood that the flattering false teachers were using his people for their own benefit. The best way he could show his devotion to them was by suffering on behalf of Christ for their sake. So like Paul, though people may choose being flattered, over your genuine sufferings in love for them. You can stand confident that you love God and them too by what you are willing to endure for His glory. Prayerful that they come to realize the true selfless love of Christ through you.

In His Love, Ld
