I’ve never seen it like this before. The two thieves hanging on the crosses on both sides of Jesus represent all of humanity!

Everyone is condemned to death. We are on our way to death no matter our status, beauty, charm, purity, effort, etc. It’s not that we are going to die but that we are DYING!

But some of us will be saved from eternal death. Those who say and believe, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” (Luke 23:42)

But the Bible says that in the beginning, both thieves were hurling insults at Jesus. Why did one of them change? He must’ve reflected on his life and the life of Jesus. On his death bed, he finally realized he was getting what he deserved, but Jesus was getting what He didn’t deserve. It was at that point that he realized that Jesus was dying for him, and He had the power to take him to paradise with Him.

Two men, both of their deeds deserved death. Our deeds deserve death. We’re hanging on the cross right now. Dying… What good is our money? What good is our healthy body? What good are our future plans?

Have you looked at Jesus? Do you see Him as your only hope?
