Your children are on the way to hell. Unless something dramatic happened, they will end up in hell. They were born in sin. Therefore, unless they were cleared of their sins, they WILL end up in hell. So will my children…
We don’t want them in hell. But what will have to happen for them not to end up in hell? They will have to come to a place where they care more about establishing God’s kingdom rather than their own kingdom.
Most nominal Christians want to build their own kingdom. They bring God into their lives in order to seek His help in building their kingdom. But they have never yielded their entire will to God, so that God’s kingdom may be established. God is a servant to them; not the master.
“As long as the son of Jesse lives on this earth, neither you nor your kingdom will be established. Now send and bring him to me, for he must die!” 1 Sam. 20:31
King Saul said this to his son, Jonathan, when he tried to help David. David is God’s anointed, representing Christ. Saul represents the unconverted soul. Jonathan represents the converted soul. The unconverted soul says, “We cannot establish our kingdom if Jesus is Lord. Therefore, we must get rid of Him!” The converted soul says, “God’s kingdom is better than my kingdom. Therefore, Jesus must be my Lord!” So, Saul tried to get rid of David, but Jonathan gave his position to David. This is a perfect picture of what must take place in our hearts if we are to be saved.
Are you trying to establish your kingdom or God’s kingdom? Are you asking God for His will so that you can get what you want or what God wants? Are you being good and moral so that God will show you favor and give you what you want, or because you simply are pleased with Him and it pleases you to please Him?
Please be saved. Don’t go to hell. Give up your will to God. All of it. Jesus is better. So much better.
