I believe one of the most loving thing we can do for our children is to spank them! It’s the quickest way to put them out of misery!

Whenever I see a parent and a child tussling back and forth and it’s apparent that the child is not going to budge and she is extremely unhappy, I’m thinking, “Why torture the child like that? Just spank her and it will be over in 15 seconds! (My children are always happier soon after spanking than a time out in their room!)

Of course, communication and understanding need to take place, but they are not enough. An immediate and physical consequence needs to take place for our children to listen and to get them out of folly. (Prov. 22:15)

I believe one of the most unloving thing we can do for our children is to have no consequence for their rebellion. That is the worst kind of curse we can put on our children as they will grow up and face far greater consequences for their sins than just a tap on their bottom.

If God would judge us, He would let us suffer no significant consequence for our wrongs.

I believe God is judging America…

And it’s the worst kind of judgment. No apparent consequences for our sins. That makes us believe today will be like yesterday and tomorrow like today. It will go on as it always has. Then a sudden destruction! “While people are saying,“Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.1 Thess 5:3

I know I sound like a doomesday preacher and frankly it hasn’t happened in 2000 years. Why would it happen in our generation? Who says it has to be a global judgment? I believe many died as a result of judgment of God in our day.

If God is spanking you, praise God. He loves you.

If you are getting away with sins, be afraid. Please return to the Lord before it’s too late.
