Good morning everyone,

Matthew 11:12-From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force.

Recalling when Jesus made this statement, John the Baptist had just gotten beheaded by King Herod! Jesus brings home the reality that is hard for many of us to take seriously at times. That the devil is violently after destroying our lives and families without even blinking.

The question for us to live out is how ‘violent" or zealous are we in offensively conquering the devil’s plan through a purpose-driven relationship with Christ?

The Lord calls us to put on armor everyday to stress to us the spiritual and even the physical violence we endure from Satan (Ephesians 6 vs. 11). But are we warring against Satan at the level he is attacking us? Or are we thinking that because we don’t visibly see problems we can relax? Be "violent" in your walk with Christ and seize back from the devil your peace and confidence to do what God called you to do!

In His Love, Ld
