Good morning everyone,

John 14:16-17: And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.

One of the blessings of experiencing so many retreats in my time of ministry is seeing people meet Christ again without the everyday distractions to focus on Him. I also know it can be a "mountaintop experience" that the devil would like nothing more than to rip you down from it! Not by doing anything special, but by reminding you that you must go home to the many distractions and leave that intimacy and focus you may have experienced at the retreat.

But we must fight to take Christ is with us to overcome any distress in the midst of our busy lives in order to keep our focus on Him. So we must leave with a plan, a plan to invite the Holu Spirit back to the place of priority above all else.

So what will that look like in your busy life and issues? Some will have to get up earlier. So of us will have to invite Him to our lunch breaks, or carve out some quiet at night after everything settles. Just remember that the mountaintop experience with Jesus is not about a place tailored to meet Him, but a heart that pursues Him.
