Good morning everyone,

Job 36:22-24 Behold, God is exalted in his power; who is a teacher like him? Who has prescribed for him his way,
or who can say, ‘You have done wrong’?
"Remember to extol his work, of which men have sung.

I heard it said before by another preacher, "if you are lacking in zeal and love for the Lord ask yourself where is the place you believe God disappointed you?"

I believe we as Christians sincerely try and persevere in faith in the Lord, but there are times even within that sincere striving there can be something lacking emotionally. The inability to embrace the excited expectation that is seen and preached in the Bible. Many times we are dealing with an offense in our heart towards God in what He allows. We know it is wrong to believe God is unjust but we can’t shake the torment of our reality.

An "offense" in our heart of any kind, towards anyone, moves us away from the affection we need to love. God’s ways are perfect, yet sometimes very painful and perplexing. But if we hold onto Him, and know that He is good, we will not be offended but blessed. Jesus knew this was possible, so he gave us this passage after he allowed the faithful messenger, John the Baptist to be beheaded-Matthew 11:6-And blessed is the one who is not offended by me."

In His Love, Ld
