Good morning everyone,
Proverbs 4:26-Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure.
Luke 2:19-But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart.
When trying to find confidence to believe God for something you feel strongly about, how do you go about it? Do you talk to numerous people about the situation? Do you become almost superstitious and do a "method" of practices that may have "worked out" before? Or do you live each day making Jesus the central "anchor" of reality in your life?
I’ve realized that when I allow Christ to be the foundation of my identity, and that He saved me for His plan to be fulfilled, my mental tasks (ie. stress) are tremendously shrunken. My "job" becomes simplified that if I believe He is that anchor, it is my duty to ponder the paths and ways He is fulfilling His purpose in my life.
Mary birthed and "raised" Jesus, and all along people would either confirm what was in her heart, or He would do something to "remind" her Who He is as the Son of God. In what way is God confirming His will in your heart? Or what has happened to alert you to Who He needs to be in your life as the Son of God? Ponder your ways, and be excited about how He is majestically shaping your life for a purpose beyond the many responsibities we struggle to handle.
In His Love, Ld
