Good afternoon everyone,

Ezekiel 37:3-And he said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" And I answered, "O Lord God, you know."

The Lord ask Ezekiel this question regarding whether He could restore the children of Israel back to life after their captivity. In replacing our names for Ezekiel’s, what might the Lord be asking us that we need to be "made alive again"?

There are times that you wonder with great expectation, and there are times when you wonder with great exasperation. Especially after coming from a long hard season of life like the Israelites. I believe God ask us the question so we can examine our faith in Him.

At times in my prayer life and even when I hear the concerns of others, the answer is a lot like Ezekiel’s, "Lord you know". It’s not unbelief it’s reverence. Not trying to conjure up "positivity" but content with God’s plan to be faithful. Not knowing and being content with God is trust and love because of knowing how good He is and has proved to be. Trust with patience when you "draw blanks" about certain times in your life. Faith lives content that God knows and will bring His will to past.

In His Love, Ld
