We do not set our agendas and ask God to bless them. The proper way is to watch where God is already at work and join Him.

Ps. 123:2, "2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maidservant to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, till he has mercy upon us."

It will require spiritual sensitivity and constant communication with the Lord to know where God is working. But I have a suspicion that it is not where we normally think - a successful ministry, public political arena, intellectual institutions, etc.

But it will be where the broken hearted are, the down and out social outcasts, in the ones we would not give a second look...

When you ask for God's heart in yourself, be prepared to be broken.
