Romans 8:19For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God.

When I was about 20 years old, my grandmother who shortly passed afterwards, told me that I needed to marry “a good church girl”.  It wasn’t until I came to Christ at 23 and got married at 25, that I realized that she must’ve been interceding for me, because I ended up marrying a “good church girl”… So I will start off by saying I am not against interceding in prayer for people, I believe it’s biblical and powerful.  But one of the most important things I’ve learned about praying to God for solutions to problems in my life, is how He commissions me to participate in order to become more like Christ.  Not just praying, but convicting me to be involved and do whatever He is telling me to do as a solution…(James 1:25, James 5:6)
Paul in the passage above speaks in context about future glory and the groaning of creation, that it is waiting on the sons (& daughters) of God to be revealed!  That this world as we sit back and witness the chaos all over, doesn’t know that it is waiting for Christians, not to just pray, but be involved in becoming who God called us to be! (Philippians 3:10, 2 Corinthians 3:18)
If you would go on to read all of Romans 8, Paul concludes that “we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us”, not will become, but are.  Why is this significant for believers to embrace?  Because if we are not striving in becoming who Christ called us to be, then we are as helpless as the world, and will live with a mentality that we’re victimized by the chaos within it…(1 John 5:4)
This statement of truth from Paul is not about being codependent on churches, to begin rallying with solutions to combat ailments in the world.  God is really calling individuals to strive in their relationship with Christ, revealing the love and influence of God in our respective gifts and callings, neighborhoods, and jobs!  The Church is us, bringing our individual temples of the Holy Spirit to our local body, to be equipped to live wherever we are, and be what creation is groaning to see! (1 Corinthians 6:19, Ephesians 2:22)
Whether you know or not, people need to see us revealed as the sons and daughters of God, and not just praying for Jesus to come back-Keep striving in His Love, Ld
