We may be rejecting God without knowing.

Of course, no Christian will reject God on purpose knowingly. Most of us would say that although not perfect, we are doing the best we can to serve God. But what if we are dead wrong? It is ultimately God’s assessment of us that matters and not our own.

In Malachi, God accuses His people of neglecting Him and rejecting Him. But they didn’t even know they were doing it. How were they rejecting Him without knowing? How do we reject Him without knowing?

1) When we question His love for us (“If God loves me, then why….?”) [1:2]

2) When we give Him leftovers (time and money). [1:8]

3) When we break our promise to Him. [1:14]

4) When we divorce our wives. [2:14]

5) When we call evil good. [2:17]

6) When we do not tithe. [3:8]

7) When we seek for the immediate profitĀ first. [3:14]

How are you doing? What if you have been rejecting God without knowing?

Repent. Turn around. Ask for forgiveness. And then do the things you have been neglecting. Stop thinking, “God will understand….”
