Do you have a vision? What is it that you most want to see in the future? (Please think about this before you read the rest!)

Now, was that vision mostly concerning your life only or did it involve others?
I believe even noble visions such as wanting to become like Christ or be holy falls short of the greater vision of seeing others come to Christ. In other words, I believe visions involving other lives are greater than visions only involving our personal lives.

1 Tim 2:8, “I want men everywhere to life up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing.”
This was Paul’s vision. He wanted to see people turn into genuine worshipers. Of course he had a vision for himself which is to be like Christ, but his vision extended beyond just his life to seeing others also become like Christ.

What do you wish for other people? Especially those who are around you? Your co-worker. Your friends. Your boss. Do you long to see them becoming genuine worshipers? Or do you just want them to stop annoying you?

This kind of vision can only be caught by those who are in love with Christ. Who see Christ as the greatest treasure there is and can’t wait to have others see Christ that way. I think I’m finally getting a glimpse of this vision. More than I want people to come to our church, I want people to become genuine worshipers lifting up Christ in the end.
