Leviticus 9:-6And Moses said, “This is the thing that the Lord commanded you to do, that the glory of the Lord may appear to you.”
Aaron followed everything Moses showed him for the sake of the glory of God to come before him.  Aaron was consumed with the glory of God, so he upheld everything Moses commanded him to do.  When the glory of God fell on the place Aaron knew that was the goal of his life and call…(Leviticus 9:23, 24)
But “strange fire” that God did not authorize, came from Aaron’s sons because they were not consumed with the glory of God, and God killed them! (Leviticus 10:1-3)  God called them to be priest and minsters of His holiness and glory, for the sake of ministering it to the congregation of Israel.  Aaron’s sons were not consumed with God’s glory as their father was, they treated what they were called to do half-heartedly, by profaning the holy…
It shows how serious God takes our call to minister the glory of God to the people he has called us to.  All of us are considered ministers and priests of God’s glory as Christians (1 Peter 2:9).  So what role has God’s Word and glory played in your ministry?  Is it acted upon or is it conceptualized?  Truthful concepts are great, but concepts without actions of faith are dead…
Just like Aaron did in his past, we all struggle not to worship and dance around our “naked calf”, honoring our idols over the glory of God.  But almost experiencing the holy wrath of God made Aaron live so unwavering to His glory, that he watched his sons get killed by it, and kept ministering and worshipping God’s glory through his grief! (Leviticus 10).  Aaron knew that the goal of his call and life was not to be derailed from ministering the glory of God, wow!
