You and I are living in Sodom where homosexuality and demon possessions are rampant. If you have children, you are raising them in Sodom.

Another mass shooting and another debate over gun control…. That is a cop out. It doesn’t address the deeper issue. It is not mental illness. Mentally ill people do not go and buy guns and methodically ask people what their religion is and shoot them according on their answer. This is demon possession! And those of us who try to psychologize or explain attributing it to bad childhood is at best naive and at worst ignorant!

What we need is prayer. We need to be on our knees praying for our nation and praying for our children that even though we raise them in Sodom, God will protect them not to be of it. What the leaders of our nation need to do at this unsolvable problem is not more debates with the opposition over the instrument of death, but repent of our blindness and sin before the Almighty and loving God who had been abandoned.

2 Chron. 7:14, “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 

 Americans are not God’s people. Christians are. We can’t save America. But God can. And the only way to do so is on our knees.
