Good morning everyone

Exodus 6:9-Moses spoke thus to the people of Israel, but they did not listen to Moses, because of their broken spirit and harsh slavery.

Have you ever decided to be bold and share the gospel with someone, and they seemed so "put off" at the time that you wondered if it had something to do with you?

Most times that is the excuse we give ourselves to not share anymore because how someone responded to our "presentation". Or we think we don’t know enough, our personality, or our faithfulness is not where it should be, etc. etc.

Yet all of these things are the excuses the enemy love’s, because they keep us from telling anyone the "good news" to give them hope in their darkness.
Moses was just like many of us who had excuses about his ability, yet the rejection of his presentation was not because of him, but because of the people and how much they endured hardship.

Personally the many times I have had the opportunity to share the gospel with people, especially people in my family who have been through a lot of hardship, I learned to keep sharing with them because my ability has nothing to do with a person’s true conversion to Christ.

Just like Moses, we must realize that it takes a miracle by the power of God for someone’s eyes to be open to real hope in Christ. Deep long-term pain and hardship (which many people have) is never overcome by how polished an argument we have or what we know.

God taught Moses to obey, and then allow God to be God. If we think it us and not God who converts people, we will eventually quit believing that sharing the gospel is necessary.

In His Love, Ld
