Good morning everyone,

Luke 8:49-While he was still speaking, someone from the ruler’s house came and said, “Your daughter is dead; do not trouble the Teacher any more.”

Our perception of Jesus reveals how we handle situations, even how we pray about them. This person puts a limit on Jesus, recognizing Him as a Teacher and not as God, capable of all things even raising the dead! But do we believe He can change the situation no matter how desperate it appears? Do you still see Him as God, though He allowed the desperate situation to occur?

If not, we may have all kinds of great knowledge, but no faith to believe God will heal our hearts and the situation we find ourselves sinking in, because we only see Him as "Teacher?"

What situation or issue in your life have you tried to ignore and hide because you believe it cannot be healed? You maybe pronouncing it to be dead, and find no need to invite Jesus into it because you don’t believe He can bring life to this particular place in your life?

The man coming to bring the report about Jairus’ daughter limited Jesus to what He believed He was, and had Jairus believed His report about Jesus he would have never seen his daughter alive again! What part of your life have you believed Jesus to be limited in to heal, touch, and bring life to?

Pray that the Holy Spirit open your eyes to His power and His desire to prove Himself as the God of all flesh and life!

In His Love, Ld
