Good morning everyone,

Mark 12:43And he called his disciples to him and said to them, "Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box.

Learning for yourself or teaching others while observing is so helpful to applying our faith practically, but how much do we observe and act from the perspective of God and His Word? Jesus took every opportunity in His short time on the earth to teach His disciples, that they should learn to renew their mind daily to what they saw and heard taught in everyday life with Him.

So much of how we learned to respond to things before Christ was "caught rather than taught". So we spend the rest of our lives trying to "unravel" the things we "caught" that have proved to be destructive in some way.
But allowing the Word to come alive in practical situations by applying it, helps us see the truth of Christ plainly against any other "man made" philosophy.

Not all, but many people have struggled to be persuaded by the reality of Christ and Him being the only way even as Christians. Though they have heard the teachings, no one has walked with them like Jesus did with His disciples, to point out not only what to observe, but the significance of what they observed. Jesus knew that learning without applying is dead and impractical no matter how true it is.

Life is practical and Jesus knew that, which is why He came from heaven to live amongst the people to show them the Way. But how have you made the effort to learn how to apply what you believe? Seek fellowship that applies truth and encourages you to act in faith on what you profess to believe. So that people see that Christ is not just another religion but is Life!

In His Love, Ld
