Mark 11:25-And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”

When you think about the stress of life and have the sensitivity and discipline to pray, how much do you consider other relationships while praying for God’s peace for your situation?

It seemed strange to me that Jesus would start teaching the disciples about having faith to believe in the power of God to do what they ask, and then begin talking about other people and forgiveness??

But prayer can easily be removed from Christianity when we think God will answer prayer when we live outside the love of God towards people. People pray for all kinds of situations and even ask for prayer but won’t forgive anyone, but this reactions breaks all ties of unity with Jesus and answered prayers!

True prayer for Christians can only be distinguished from other religions because we walk in the love of God, which should effect how we act and respond to people.

So to stay true to Christ, it is impossible to be unforgiving, and think God is desiring to answer our prayers over the priority of having right relationships, first with Him then others. A Christian prayer life will always lead you to consider your relationships (Jesus and others) before you have request for God, otherwise the prayers are not Christian.
