Have you been confused or even frustrated by God for anything? Of course you have! Unless you are Jesus and perfectly one with God, you have been confused or frustrated by God. But why?

Because God doesn’t work the way we do. He doesn’t use the people we would. He doesn’t use the method we would employ. If we were to guess how God would work, it would almost be a safe bet to think opposite of how the world would do it.

For example, the world picks the best and the brightest to do its work. Think of all the assessments and testings to screen people so to make sure they pick the best. They have made it into a science to draft the right picks for their team, for example….

However, God would choose to use people that are not qualified in the world’s eyes. And God would use methods that will oppose the best business practices and such. It’s almost as if God is looking to see what the world would do and do the opposite! Why does He do that? Why does He confuse us with such ways and methods?

1 Cor. 1:28, “God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.”

If humans, through using their methods and smarts, were to have achieved something truly great and lasting, then they would get the credit. But God will not have that! He will share His glory with no one! So God uses ways and people in such a way that in the end no one will be able to claim credit for himself/herself but for God.

So if you feel low, worthless, helpless, and ignored by the world, then you might just be the person God uses!
