Good morning everyone

Habakkuk 2:1-3 I will take my stand at my watchpost and station myself on the tower, and look out to see what he will say to me,
and what I will answer concerning my complaint. And the Lord answered me: "Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time;
it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.

Recently I have thought more and more about the Lord and His omniscience, in that He knows all things. Though that doesn’t always bring me immediate comfort, it does when you have some tough seasons in your life that you must put in perspective that life is bigger than our experiences. A vision from God helps us focus on the big picture every time we get tunnel vision.

Habakkuk experienced just that, as he wondered why the wicked seem to triumph over the righteous. Realizing his limitations as a mere human he poured out his frustration, but also left room to be corrected by God’s grand vision for him and Israel.

The question we must ask ourselves is whether we have any vision from God for our lives? If so, are we humble enough to stop our questioning and allow God to correct our short-sighted thoughts about life and line up with His vision? Many things good and bad will come into our lives to try and get us off the vision God gave us. But we must realize that if God has given us a vision, then until it’s fulfilled, everything in between is a learning experience, to know our God, and further believe that His vision for us will come to pass.

In His Love, Ld

I’m almost done reading through the book of Revelation. Just a couple chapters left to go. I do not understand most of it, if that makes you feel any better. It’s not because I have not read much on it. I have. But the people who made bold predictions based on that book had been wrong and therefore, jury is still out as to if anyone really got a good grasp on the book of Revelation…

But I know a few things are true. Evil will be defeated and Christ will triumph. That day is not yet, but is coming. And I can’t wait for that day when Christ comes and what we desire to do finally matches up with what we do!

Just imagine what the new world will be like. Think of the most beautiful and inspiring thing you ever saw. Think of the pure enjoyment you had in your childhood. Think of the longing you felt when you were with your loved one. Think of the times something took your breath away because of its majesty and grandeur. And then think of those times when you felt completely at peace – like walking through the green pasture, under big puffy clouds, and blue sky, without a deb of worries about the future or the pressure to accomplish something or to be somewhere…

"Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready!" Rev. 19:7

Endure to the end. The end is coming soon. If not THE end, our end is coming soon. But it’s not the end. It’s a new beginning. There is no end for those of us who are in Christ. I can’t wait to meet all the interesting people in the world – people who had been redeemed by Christ. We have eternity to get to know each other!
