I’m almost done reading through the book of Revelation. Just a couple chapters left to go. I do not understand most of it, if that makes you feel any better. It’s not because I have not read much on it. I have. But the people who made bold predictions based on that book had been wrong and therefore, jury is still out as to if anyone really got a good grasp on the book of Revelation…

But I know a few things are true. Evil will be defeated and Christ will triumph. That day is not yet, but is coming. And I can’t wait for that day when Christ comes and what we desire to do finally matches up with what we do!

Just imagine what the new world will be like. Think of the most beautiful and inspiring thing you ever saw. Think of the pure enjoyment you had in your childhood. Think of the longing you felt when you were with your loved one. Think of the times something took your breath away because of its majesty and grandeur. And then think of those times when you felt completely at peace – like walking through the green pasture, under big puffy clouds, and blue sky, without a deb of worries about the future or the pressure to accomplish something or to be somewhere…

“Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready!” Rev. 19:7

Endure to the end. The end is coming soon. If not THE end, our end is coming soon. But it’s not the end. It’s a new beginning. There is no end for those of us who are in Christ. I can’t wait to meet all the interesting people in the world – people who had been redeemed by Christ. We have eternity to get to know each other!
